Quotation of the Day

...that if you think you have nothing to lose, you win. If

you think you have something to win, you lose.

It all drives to motivation. Why are you doing what you

are doing right now? To avoid loss? To achieve gain?

Wrong reason both times. Life is not about win-and-lose.

Life is about being or not being, expressing or not

expressing, who you are.

Don't do things for personal benefit. And don't do things

to avoid personal damage. Do things to feel personal

authenticity. Then your life will make sense, no matter

what is going on around you.

It is clear why you have been told this today, yes?

-
I have struggled much through out my life to discount "others" opinion and do that spontaneously bubble up inside of me and living that true authenticity he talks about.  Too often, I succomb to my impression of pier pressure (although I am confident that "others" were not thinking of me as my mind pictured them to be) and do that that I perceive would be palatable to those around me.  I wonder how often my impression were completely false and I did a muted version of my desire to please no one!!!!!

Join me, remind me, and aid me by being an example, as I will for you, and let's live our own truth, our own authenticity thereby enriching our life and our world.   Win/Win.

Namaste,
Jacky

Quotation of the Day

...the goodness in your life does not come to you

from someone else. When you see this, you will be free.

There is no reason and no need to "play up" to another,

or to try to remain in their good graces. Remain in your

own, by not betraying yourself. Simply speak your truth,

with gentleness and love.

And have courage, for what you seek is not outside of

you. It is not a gift from another person. It is yours -- to

give, not to acquire. Let no one, therefore, hold you

hostage. Not your partner, not your boss, not your

family....

Don't we all have these people in our lives?  Those who present a calm, sound and accepting presence.  It seems they can say something that may difficult to the listener to hear yet their demeanor delivers no sting, just truth, accepting, loving truth.  It seems if I can attain this quality, to be true myself seeking this truth from with-in that the gift I offer would be of more value.

Quotation of the Day

LIFE Partners:  I love this quotation:  As LIFE is about to launch and we examine our role/purpose in this unprecedented, timely and essential industry, this quotation embodies my interpretation of the purpose LIFE embodies.

"The whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be."

Oprah Winfrey

Reading this quotation reminds me that I must spend time "planning" my day assuring I am investing as much toward  the outcome of my life as I would invest in assuring for a fun, frugal and organized vacation.

Any thoughts you'd like to share?

Quotation of the Day

...that on this day will you have an opportunity to attend

your own inauguration.

You are invited by life to elect yourself a Spiritual

Leader, and to take office today. What does a

spiritual leader say? A spiritual leader does not say,

"Follow me." A spiritual leader says, "I'll go first."

Decide today to take the oath: I promise to "go first"

in demonstrating forgiveness, compassion, understanding,

generosity, kindness, cheerfulness, positivity, and love.

I promise, to "go first" in demonstrating forgiveness, compassion, understanding, generosity, kindness, cheerfulness, positivity, and love.

I ask you to gently point out when I fail as I am truly desirous exhibiting these qualities at all times.  Thank you.

Quotation of the Day

"Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens."

John Homer Miller

The moments clicking by are flavored by our state of mind and interpretation of the events before us.  If our state of mind is laced with negative or pessimistic attitudes then our auto response to life's events tends to be negative or pessimistic delivering us that experience.  If our auto response is optimistic, hopeful, accepting and positive hence our experience.  It is true, we cannot control events we experience however, we have full control of manifesting the ambiance with which we interact with all of our experiences hence; we can control the flavor in which we experience each moment.

Love you all.
