Quotation of the Day

"Love cannot remain by itself—it has no meaning. Love must be put into action, and that action is service."  Mother Teresa

Acts of service; is it any wonder we find ourselves through helping others, we find peace through our true acts of service, we find solutions to our problems or learn we don't really have problems worth worrying about in the aid of others.

It is up to me to put Love in Action.  I must infuse Love into all acts through out the day and truly not just for others but turn it inward as well.  Unleash it abundantly into action through my thoughts, my feelings, my words, all forms of communication, my observances, my judgements, my hopes, my life.

I know I can improve greatly in this.  I know how one act of kindness (service), a smile or compliment can change someone else's day and the wonder is how many other people were affected in a positive ways through that one act.

Quotation of the Day

What you resist persists.       Carl Jung

Hello, I hope this email finds you well.  I am writing about this subject again.  As Life is the most patient and consistent teacher; this lesson is presented to me once again; providing me with yet another opportunity to perfect this weakness in myself.  Again I experience that resisting the emotions that come with living create dysfunction.  In a conversation with a friend just yesterday we talked about if we'd simply surrender ourselves to our faith that we will be where we need to be, in situations providing opportunity to grow and that we'll know what to do in the situation presented to us we would walk boldly forward accepting what presents itself as is without resistance.  If I could do this I could minimize the infusion of my negative, fearful thoughts.

If in times of struggle I would accept our struggle feeling it, accepting it.  Resistance would diminish, whatever lesson is available to learn I could accept it and move on to whatever life presents next.  Carl Jung also said "There can be no transformation of darkness into light and apathy into movement without emotion."  Ah, "feeling" is important or I guess imperative, not simply reasoning!!!

I allow my times of struggle to weaken my faith, weaken my confidence and I respond to fear and doubt which paralyzes my movement forward.  When what I need to do connect to hope and faith inspiring my movement forward, allowing emotion flow and process freeing me for what life will present next.

Again, as a work in progress, I work to grow.

Quotation of the Day

"The greatest gift you can give others is your best you—your healthiest you."    —  Joseph J. Sweere

As I was growing up and was looking for what "I" was supposed to be doing with this life I was given; I searched the world around me for clues hoping they would direct me to the "things" I was to accomplish, change this things I was to change, help in the ways I was to help etc.

Until just a few years ago I didn't know that my first mistake was where I was searching.  All of my search took place out in the world I existed in.  My observations and longing for clues to the meaning and purpose of my was to manifest seemed to trickle in yet I longed for the feeding to come from a fire hose feeding me faster and faster as I desired to make my mark!.

Just a few years ago learning that "where" the search needed to take place was not external at all it was with in with "in" me.  It is an "internal" search required to identify and create as I am meant to.  Once I began looking in the correct place I find "me" a Divine and wonderful creation but one which requires vigilant and much work in order to live my purpose.  Truly, I find, I am my project and it is the changes in "ME", becoming the best "ME", focusing on growing, improving and only looking at "ME" that is my purpose.  And once this settled in me, the paths I was to walk, those I may have the pleasure to touch or be touched by, with no effort from me appear in my path.
